Ilona Kiss

Graphic designer and book artist, winner of the Munkácsy Award, internationally known master of artist’s books. Her works were presented at the Goethe Museum in Frankfurt am Main, the Forney Library in Paris, the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna, and in Budapest, the National Braidense Library in Milano and the Nobel Museum in Stockholm and also present in many other museums, libraries and private collections both in Hungary and abroad. She graduated at the typography department of the Hungarian Academy for Applied Arts, (today the name is Moholy Nagy Art University), bookdesigning branch in 1979. Founder of the Hungarian Book Artists Association in 1993. Scolarship in Paris 1994, in Frankfurt am Main 1996. Curateur of Hungarian Artist Book Exhibition at the International Book Fair in Frankfurt in 1999.
